If it were me in her shoes, I just know getting fired from a dream job before you even learn everyone's name would feel like some kind of cosmic prank. especially because this girl did everything by the book: start early, ask questions, keep quiet,, and still got kicked out before lunch by someone who smiles like she's announcing a prize.

This is how work goes now. Everyone's talking about culture and belonging, but behind the shiny words, there's a quiet panic. You can be the perfect employee, polite and careful, and still get erased by the system mid‑day like a line of bad code. The people running the show probably don't even know why, they just know someone told them to.
